Pigeon arrested Indian police on suspicion of “Pakistani Agent”

Amritsar: a white pigeon was found by a resident from the border area of Pakistan and Punjab state of India on Thursday and was shifted to a police station about 25 miles away from the capital Amritsar, thesenlive reported.

Upon receiving the white-colored bird, Indian police started carrying out high level of investigation, and medical examination of the each body part of the bird was carried out to any sign of its “being spying for Pakistan”

The Indian police said to media persons that the pigeon has a ring around its foot and telephone number from Pakistan and a stamped addressed in red ink.

SHO of the Ramdas police station, Jagjit Singh Chahal, said that they had suspected the pigeon that had landed in Indian land from Pakistan side spying for Pakistan, but they didn’t find any trace of being spying.

Chahal said he had been asked by his seniors not to leave the police station or to proceed on leave until the fate of pigeon was decided.
