Peshawar: Peshawar security forces and bomb disposal team on Monday successfully diffused a planted bomb alongside a road in Peshawar, thesenlive reported.

According to police officials, the locals found a bomb, weighing 3KG, planted alongside a road in Hazarkhwani area of Peshawar, and immediately informed the police, who disposed the bomb successfully with the help of bomb disposal team.

However, police did not provide further details about the bomb and said that they have started search operation in the nearby areas against suspects and other possibly planted bombs.
