Afghanistan: A NATO helicopter on Monday crashed in the Koh-e-Safi District of central Parwan province of Afghanistan, killing all abroad, thesenlive reported.
According to Afghan Army official, the helicopter crashed in the Karez area of Koh-e-Safi district after hitting a mountain.
The US and NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) officials have also confirmed the crash, however, they did not mention any cause of the crash.
Sources in Pentagon have also confirmed the crashed but did not reveal casualties in the incident, and said that they were investigating the cause of the crash.
On the other hand, Taliban spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed the responsibility of the helicopter crash and said that Taliban fighters shot down the copter, in which all the people abroad were killed.
